Il est l’heure d’aller au lit! It is time to go to bed!

A little bit of French every day goes a long way! How do you build it into your routine? Here is a “Mini French Bedtime Chart” to support you as a parent in speaking a bit of French with your little one when you are winding them down for bed.

You can check pronunciation (but don’t get hung up on this!) using this resource:

CHILDREN SONGS FRENCH

Songs at home!

Bonjour!

At Mini French we love singing! It is fun, it takes the pressure off speaking out loud in a group and it helps to remember the words but did you know it is based on research?

Research from the University of Edinburgh found that people who sang words or short phrases from a foreign language while learning were twice as good at speaking it later.

On that note check out “Les Clipounets” – children’s songs with simple videos. Here is a link to their official YouTube channel. My kids love them!
